What changed in the GoHighLevel Lead Source Report on October 6, 2026?
On October 6, 2026, HighLevel updated the Lead Source Report so you can click any count under Total leads, Open, Won, Lost or Abandoned to see the opportunities behind it. The report now shows the monetary value for each status, adds "Is empty" and "Is not empty" source filters, and lists opportunities with no source as "N/A" instead of leaving them out.

The source is the HighLevel changelog entry Lead Source Report: Drill Into Your Leads and See Value by Status, filed under Reporting.
What is new in the Lead Source Report?
There are five changes: drill-down from any non-zero count to the opportunity list, value shown per status, empty and not-empty source filters, unattributed opportunities shown as N/A, and steadier row heights with better mobile reading.
| Change | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Counts | Numbers only | Click a non-zero count to open the opportunities |
| Value | Totals | Value for Open, Won, Lost and Abandoned per source |
| Source filter | Specific sources | Adds "Is empty" and "Is not empty" |
| No source | Excluded | Shown as "N/A" |
| Layout | Uneven rows | Consistent row heights, better on mobile |
Two limits from the entry: value is only visible to users with lead value permissions, and drill-down works only on counts above zero. HighLevel lists custom fields as revenue sources as the next step.
Why does the N/A row matter?
The N/A row shows how many opportunities have no lead source at all. Before, those were excluded, so the report looked cleaner than the data was. Now you can see the gap and fix the forms, calendars or integrations that create records without a source.
Three common causes of a large N/A row: opportunities created by hand without a source, an integration or webhook that does not pass a source field, or a form or calendar that is not set to tag where the lead came from. Use the "Is empty" filter to list them and work backward to the cause. Source tagging at every entry point is one of the rules in our GoHighLevel CRM setup, and a GoHighLevel account cleanup fixes it across old records.
How should you use the updated report?
Compare sources by won value instead of lead count, open the lost and abandoned opportunities for your biggest sources to see why they did not close, and use the N/A row to find records that are missing attribution.
- Add or open the Lead Source Report widget on a dashboard.
- Sort your view by won value, not total leads. A source with fewer leads can be worth more.
- Click the Lost count for your top source and read the opportunities. Patterns such as slow first replies or no follow-up show up fast.
- Filter on "Is empty" and fix how those records were created.
If lost deals cluster around slow replies, the fix is usually in the response workflow; our speed up lead response guide covers it, with the published research in speed to lead statistics. If they cluster around no follow-up, see follow-up that converts. If sources are missing because an integration does not pass them, our GoHighLevel API integration service fixes attribution at the source.
Questions about the GoHighLevel Lead Source Report
Why can't I see values in the Lead Source Report?
Value is shown only to users with lead value permissions. An admin can change that in the user's roles and permissions.
Why are some leads showing as N/A?
Those opportunities have no source recorded. Since the October 6, 2026 update they are shown as N/A instead of being excluded.
Can I use a custom field as the lead source?
Not yet. HighLevel lists custom fields as revenue sources as the next planned step.
