Texts and calls in GoHighLevel are billed by usage. The October 13 update changes those rates for selected international destinations only.

What is changing in HighLevel pricing on October 13, 2026?

HighLevel announced two price updates that take effect on October 13, 2026: new per-minute rates for selected international inbound and outbound voice calls, and new rates for outbound SMS to 12 countries plus monthly rental prices for phone numbers in 11 countries. US and Canadian rates are not on either list. HighLevel says no action is needed; the new list prices apply automatically.

Both updates were posted on HighLevel's changelog: voice pricing updates and messaging and phone number pricing updates, checked on October 1, 2026. HighLevel gives the reason as carriers updating what they charge to route calls and deliver messages. Existing fixed-price agreements stay as they are for their term.

Does it affect US businesses?

For calls and texts within the US and Canada, no: neither country appears in the lists. It does affect US businesses that call or text customers abroad, rent numbers in the affected countries, or take calls from Puerto Rico, which is on both voice lists.

  • Puerto Rico: listed for both inbound and outbound voice changes. If you serve customers there, check your call costs after October 13.
  • International callers: inbound changes cover 19 countries, including Mexico, Brazil, Germany, France and the United Arab Emirates.
  • Outbound calls abroad: 21 destinations, including India, the Philippines, Japan, Singapore and Mexico.

What should agencies and businesses do before October 13?

If you only call and text in the US and Canada, nothing changes. If you rebill usage to clients with international numbers or traffic, check your rebilling markup still covers the new costs, and tell affected clients before their next invoice. Anyone on a fixed-price agreement keeps it until the term ends.

  1. List international traffic: check which sub-accounts call, text or rent numbers outside the US and Canada.
  2. Check rebilling: agencies that resell usage should confirm their markup still covers the new rates.
  3. Check texting rules: new international numbers still need the right consent and registration; see A2P 10DLC registration for US numbers and what time businesses can text.
  4. Review AI calling: Voice AI agents that call abroad use the same per-minute routes.
  5. Update budgets: use the GoHighLevel pricing calculator for a monthly estimate.
