What is a GoHighLevel SaaS setup?
A GoHighLevel SaaS setup turns HighLevel into software you sell under your own brand. Clients buy a plan on your website, pay you, and get their own account automatically, already loaded with your snapshot. The setup covers the SaaS Configurator, plans and prices, payments, rebilling, white-label branding and the onboarding that follows the first payment.
HighLevel calls this SaaS Mode. Its pricing page describes it as a way to "sell subscriptions directly from your website, automatically creating client accounts without any manual work from you." That last part is the promise, and it only holds when every piece is connected in the right order: the payment provider, the plan, the snapshot, the domain, the phone and email rebilling, and the welcome workflow.
Autoesta builds that system for agencies and consultants who want to sell GoHighLevel as their own product. We are a 16-person team led by a HighLevel Certified Admin, and white-label SaaS builds are on our published price list.
Who is a GoHighLevel SaaS setup for?
It suits agencies and consultants who already have clients in one niche, a repeatable setup they can sell more than once, and a plan to support those clients every month. It is a poor fit for someone hoping to resell software with no niche, no snapshot and no support plan.
The people who get the most out of it usually look like one of these:
- A niche agency (dental, med spa, home services, real estate) that sets up the same CRM for every client and wants to charge a monthly software fee instead of one-off setup fees.
- A consultant or coach who teaches a method and wants clients to run that method inside a branded app.
- An agency already on the $297 Unlimited plan that rebills by hand and wants checkout, account creation and usage billing to run without a spreadsheet.
- A software founder who needs CRM, booking, texting and payments for a vertical product and does not want to build those from scratch.
If you are still deciding whether the business model makes sense, start with our guide on building a SaaS business on GoHighLevel white label. This page is about getting it built and working.
Which GoHighLevel plan do you need for SaaS Mode?
You need the Agency Pro plan, which costs $497 a month or $4,970 a year at the time of writing. HighLevel's pricing page lists SaaS Mode and rebilling with markup only on Agency Pro. Unlimited at $297 a month can rebill phone and email, but without a markup, and it has no SaaS Mode.
| What you need | Starter ($97/mo) | Unlimited ($297/mo) | Agency Pro ($497/mo) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sub-accounts | 3 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| SaaS Mode (sell plans, auto-create accounts) | No | No | Yes |
| Rebill phone and email | No | Yes, no markup | Yes, with markup |
| API access | Basic | Basic | Advanced (agency-level keys) |
| White-label desktop app and custom domains | The pricing page lists custom domains and a white-label desktop web app; confirm what your plan shows. The branded mobile app is a separate $497/month add-on. | ||

What does Autoesta's GoHighLevel SaaS setup include?
The build covers eight parts: the SaaS Configurator and payment provider, plan design, a tested snapshot, rebilling for phone, email, AI and premium workflow actions, white-label branding and domains, checkout pages, the onboarding workflow, and a full dry run with a test customer before your first real sale.
| Part of the build | What we set up | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Payments and SaaS Configurator | Stripe for SaaS V1, or an Agency Sub-Account with a supported payment provider for V2; plan categories and currency | The payment system decides how upgrades, downgrades and proration work later |
| Plans and pricing | Two or three plans, monthly and annual prices, trial length, complimentary credits, add-ons | Plans that map to real client sizes are easier to sell and upgrade |
| Snapshot | Pipelines, calendars, forms, workflows, templates, custom fields and smart lists for your niche | The snapshot is the product the client actually uses on day one |
| Rebilling | Markups for phone, email, Conversation AI, Voice AI and workflow premium actions | Usage you do not rebill comes out of your margin |
| White label | Your domain for the app, your logo and colors, branded emails, custom domains for funnels | Clients should only ever see your brand |
| Checkout | Pricing page and order forms on your site using the plan sale links | This is where a visitor becomes a paying account |
| Onboarding | Welcome emails and texts, a kickoff booking link, A2P 10DLC registration steps, first-week check-ins | A client who logs in to an empty, unexplained account has little reason to stay |
| Dry run | A real test purchase from checkout to a working account, then a cancel and a refund | It catches broken links and missing permissions before a customer does |
How does the GoHighLevel SaaS Configurator work?
The SaaS Configurator is where you build and sell your plans. You connect a payment system, create a plan category, then create each plan with its price, features, snapshot, trial, add-ons and usage billing. Each plan gets a sale link. When someone pays through it, HighLevel creates their sub-account, applies the snapshot and starts the subscription.
HighLevel's own article, Getting Started with the SaaS Configurator (modified September 12, 2026), describes two versions, and the choice affects the whole build:
| SaaS V1 | SaaS V2 | |
|---|---|---|
| Where billing lives | Stripe is the system of record | An Agency Sub-Account you choose is the system of record |
| Payment providers | Stripe only | Supported providers connected to that sub-account |
| Where products live | In Stripe | In HighLevel |
| Proration | Handled by Stripe | Not supported for tier or interval changes |
The same article notes that the V1 subscription bridge does not convert existing V1 subscriptions into V2 and is not retroactive. If you already have paying V1 clients, moving them takes a planned migration. We walk through the configurator screen by screen in our SaaS Configurator setup guide.
How should you price your GoHighLevel SaaS plans?
Price from what the client gets, then check that the lowest plan still covers your HighLevel cost, your support time and the usage you cannot rebill. Most agencies use two or three tiers that match real client sizes, such as one location, a growing team and multiple locations, and charge usage separately through rebilling.
A simple check before you publish a price: take the Agency Pro fee, divide it by the number of clients you expect in the first six months, add the hours of support each client needs at your hourly cost, and make sure the entry plan is well above that. If it is not, the plan works only at a scale you do not have yet.
Usage is the part people forget. Texts, calls, email sends, Conversation AI, Voice AI and premium workflow actions are billed to your agency by HighLevel. Rebilling passes those to the client with your markup. Our GoHighLevel rebilling guide shows how each service is billed and how to set the multiplier.
How much does a GoHighLevel SaaS setup cost?
At the time of writing, Autoesta's white-label SaaS setup costs $4,000 to $7,000 as a one-time build. GoHighLevel's Agency Pro plan, $497 a month, is paid to HighLevel separately. The audit and strategy call are free, and six months of maintenance on what we build is included.
| Item | Cost at the time of writing | Paid to |
|---|---|---|
| Strategy call and audit of your current account | Free | Autoesta |
| White-label SaaS setup (everything in the table above) | $4,000 to $7,000 one time | Autoesta |
| Agency Pro plan | $497 a month or $4,970 a year | HighLevel |
| Branded mobile app (optional) | $497 a month add-on | HighLevel |
| Usage (texts, calls, email, AI, premium actions) | Per use, rebilled to your clients | HighLevel, then your clients |
| Ongoing support after the build (optional) | From $200 a month (optional, after the 6 free months) | Autoesta |
| Fixes to what we built, first six months | Included | Autoesta |
The range depends mostly on the snapshot. A snapshot with one pipeline and a short follow-up sequence sits at the lower end. A snapshot with several pipelines, AI agents, custom objects and integrations sits at the top. If your account already has a working snapshot, we audit it first and only rebuild what fails testing.
How long does a GoHighLevel SaaS setup take?
Most SaaS builds take three to five weeks from the kickoff call to the first live sale. The snapshot takes the longest. Payment setup and plans take days, but a snapshot has to be built, tested in a clean sub-account and fixed before it is safe to sell.
- Week 1: scope and design. We agree on plans, prices, the snapshot contents and the onboarding flow. You approve the design before we build, because changing a design is cheaper than changing a finished build.
- Weeks 1 to 2: account foundation. Payment provider, SaaS Configurator, white-label domain, branding and rebilling markups.
- Weeks 2 to 4: snapshot. Pipelines, calendars, workflows, templates, fields and smart lists, built in a source account and loaded into a test account.
- Weeks 3 to 4: checkout and onboarding. Pricing page, sale links, welcome sequence, kickoff booking and A2P steps.
- Week 4 to 5: dry run and handover. A test purchase end to end, fixes, then a recorded walkthrough for your team.
What usually goes wrong when agencies set up SaaS Mode themselves?
The common failures are a snapshot that was never tested in a fresh account, rebilling left off so usage eats the margin, a payment setup chosen without thinking about upgrades, and no onboarding after checkout. Each one is fixable, but each is cheaper to avoid.
- Untested snapshot. Workflows point at a calendar, a user or a custom value that only exists in the source account, so they fail quietly in every new client account.
- No rebilling. A client sends a few thousand texts and runs Voice AI, and the agency pays for all of it.
- Wrong payment version. An agency picks V2 and later needs prorated upgrades, or starts on V1 and later wants a non-Stripe provider. Moving paying clients is a project.
- Checkout with no next step. The account is created, the client logs in to an empty dashboard and never comes back.
- Texting before A2P registration. Messages fail in the first week, which is exactly when the client is deciding whether the product works. HighLevel added a real-time A2P registration status on October 6, 2026, which makes this easier to check.
If your SaaS account is already live and showing any of these, a fix usually starts with a GoHighLevel account audit, which is free, then cleanup from $200.
Can you set up SaaS Mode on an account that already has clients?
Yes. We map your current sub-accounts, decide which clients move to a SaaS plan and which stay on manual billing, and switch them in batches so nobody is billed twice. Existing clients keep their data. Most of the work is planning and testing.
HighLevel supports bulk rebilling across many sub-accounts. Its bulk rebilling article notes that rebilling will not activate on a sub-account until a card is on file. That detail decides the order of the switch: collect cards first, then turn on rebilling, then move the plan.
What do your clients see after a GoHighLevel white-label SaaS setup?
Your clients see your brand: your app domain, your logo, your colors and your emails. They buy on your website, log in at your address and get support from you. HighLevel's name does not need to appear in the client's day-to-day use of the desktop app.
Two things to plan for. The standard mobile app carries HighLevel's branding unless you buy the branded mobile app add-on, $497 a month at the time of writing. And some system emails and the A2P registration flow ask for your client's business details directly, so your onboarding should tell clients what to expect.
Why hire Autoesta for your GoHighLevel SaaS setup?
We build SaaS accounts as products, with a tested snapshot, rebilling that protects your margin, and an onboarding flow, then we keep fixing what we built for six months. The price is published, the audit is free, and you own the account, the snapshot and the data.
- Published pricing. $4,000 to $7,000 for a white-label build at the time of writing, quoted after a free call.
- Design before build. You see and approve the plan before anything is configured.
- Six months of fixes included. If something we built breaks, we fix it.
- Your account, your data. Everything sits in your own HighLevel agency. See who owns the automations and data.
- More than GoHighLevel. When your product needs something HighLevel does not do, we build it with the API, n8n or custom code. See our GoHighLevel API integration service.
For agencies that do not want SaaS Mode yet, our GoHighLevel automation for agencies service covers onboarding and snapshot management without the subscription layer.
Questions people ask about GoHighLevel SaaS setup
Is GoHighLevel SaaS Mode worth it?
SaaS Mode is worth it when you have at least a handful of clients who need the same setup, because the $200 a month difference between Unlimited and Agency Pro is covered once one or two clients pay for a plan priced at $100 to $200 a month or more. It is not worth it for an agency with two clients and no repeatable snapshot.
Can I white label GoHighLevel on the $297 plan?
Partly. HighLevel's pricing page lists custom domains and a white-label desktop web app (confirm what your plan shows), and the $297 Unlimited plan can rebill phone and email without a markup. Selling plans that create accounts automatically, and rebilling with a markup, need the $497 Agency Pro plan.
Which payment processors work with GoHighLevel SaaS Mode?
SaaS V1 uses Stripe only. SaaS V2 bills through an Agency Sub-Account and uses the payment providers connected to that sub-account under Payments, Integrations. HighLevel's configurator article was modified on September 12, 2026, so check it again before you choose.
Can I offer a free trial on my GoHighLevel SaaS plans?
Yes. Each SaaS plan has a Trial and Credits section where you set the trial length and any complimentary credits. Decide what happens at the end of the trial, including the reminder messages, before you publish the plan.
Do I need a snapshot to launch GoHighLevel SaaS?
You can launch without one, but clients then log in to an empty account. A snapshot attached to each plan gives every new client a working pipeline, calendar and follow-up on day one, which is most of what they are paying for.
How do I rebill text and call costs to my SaaS clients?
Turn on rebilling in each plan or in the client's Manage Client settings, then set a multiplier for each service. On Agency Pro you choose the markup. Your agency is still billed by HighLevel for the actual usage, and the client is billed through your payment setup.
What is the difference between GoHighLevel white label and SaaS Mode?
White label is the branding: your domain, logo and colors on the app. SaaS Mode is the selling: plans, checkout, automatic account creation and usage rebilling. Most agencies selling software want both.
Do you also build the website and sales page for my SaaS?
Yes. The checkout page is part of the setup, and we can build the full website on GoHighLevel funnels or as a custom site. See GoHighLevel funnels and landing page development.
